About the Artist I started my own line of custom, made-to-order art after I had trouble finding the right room accents when I was decorating my first child’s room. As an artist and graphic designer, I was searching for items that reflected my graphic and slightly whimsical aesthetic.  Inspired by the bold composition and design of vintage posters, I decided to create an original piece for my daughter’s room and personalized it with her name.  After that, I designed gifts for friends’ baby showers and children’s birthday parties, earning raves for their unique style. Soon I had created an entire line of designs for boys and girls of all ages—all of which can be personalized—and Sweet and Sour Handmade Creations was born. I’ve been creating and selling my one-of-a-kind art ever since and receiving wonderful feedback from my customers. Everything is designed and handmade to order, ensuring that you’ll find just the right piece for your own child’s room. The logo was inspired by my daughter and a friend's daughter. One has fiery red hair and the other is a towhead. They are both very sweet and a little sour at times. Such is life...sometimes sweet and sometimes sour. Thank you for visiting!
